A 20 minute, in-depth interview with Michael Duffy on the ABC National Counterpoint programme, exploring what exactly is wrong with the claims made in Richard Wilkinson and Kate Pickett's influential boom, The Spirit Level. As the interview makes clear, the book's claim that income inequality causes bad health, bad schooling, weak family life, high crime, and weak bonds of trust and social cohesion simply does not stand up.
